What's the difference between Practice and Practice+?
Both plans include the full clinical platform: patient records, Health Passport, theatre lists, appointments, kiosk check-in, ICD-10 coding and your price list. Every plan gets email reminders. Every plan is listed on Find a Doctor and gets a 24/7 online booking page. Practice+ adds SMS reminders and confirmations, multiple sites, and unlimited staff. See the comparison.
How does the price list work?
In Practice settings you enter your standard consultation fee, other consultation types, and procedures with their prices. You can link a procedure to ICD-10 codes. When a consultation is coded, Medvexis suggests the matching amounts on the billing dashboard and in the invoice. Every amount stays editable per invoice.
Is our data secure and POPIA compliant?
Yes. Patient data is encrypted, access is role-based and logged, and every account is scoped to your practice, so staff at one practice cannot see another practice's patients. Patients also control which Health Passport categories your practice can see. If your compliance team needs a written overview, ask through the contact form.
We're switching from paper or another system. Is that hard?
No. Import your existing patient list yourself from Practice settings, a CSV or spreadsheet export from GoodX, HealthBridge, Elixir or anything similar works, and it takes about 5 minutes with duplicate checking built in. Patients who've never used Medvexis simply check in at reception or the kiosk and their record builds itself from there. If you'd rather a person walked you through it, you can request a free call instead.
What does the 14-day trial include?
Everything in the plan you choose, with no feature gate. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and no card is needed just to explore, which is what the live demo is for. Registering starts the trial when you're ready to use it with real patients.
Is the live demo a real, working product?
Yes. It is the actual platform with realistic sample patients loaded, not a video. The demo is private: request access and we will review it and send you a personal link. Explore it as a doctor, practice manager or receptionist, switch between Practice and Practice+, or open the patient view. Nothing you do in the demo touches real patient data.
What if we need help after we're live?
We stay reachable. Use the contact form or email us directly. We're a South African team building for South African practices, so questions are answered by someone who understands how your practice runs.
